First time voters and most importantly citizens of this country where denied their rights today at Hastings not to register because of not having their Birth Certificate or National Civil Registration Authority Certificate of Confirmation which are the only two documents allowed as to prove you are a real citizen of this country.
Most first time voters claimed to have misplaced their Birth Certificate and not having that National Civil Registration Authority certificate of confirmation.
Majority presented their West African Senior Secondary School Examination slip and some even presented their passports which are also relevant documents which each and every citizen can have and be recognized as a proud citizen of this country but they were denied their rights to register .
Lots of familiarity ( Sabi Sabi ) registration happening here at Hastings registration center and the most irritating one here is we only have only one registration center at Hastings, and only one machine doing the registration process🥲
Hastings is now a populated community and we were expecting more than four registration centers.
We kindly call on the Government to see to the right and constrains of the people residing at Hastings.
